Cw's 22nd Bday Celebration

Dinner at Epicurious.. After we girls went for cheap ktv at Teo Heng.. Lol.. Personally i feel that the food is not worth the price.. Although they have a bit more special dishes.. Haha.. But then again, so little varieties! So not worth it =x

Coffee club after that.. Fq is totally not full after the meal.. Lol!

I hope everything will go as we planned and we'll be in Japan together next year for our graduation trip =D I'm still excited by the thoughts of it~ But it's like still one year away.. Lol..

And this also means.. I'll need to save and scrimp for 1 more year.. after my HK trip.. Haha!

Back to blog.. Heh~

I didn't blog not bcos i'm lazy.. It's bcos life has been quite mundane for the previous few weeks and i've nothing much to share.. Most of my frens are going crazy with exams and i'm busy with my logbook and report.. And now their exams are ending yet i'm still stuck with IA! -.- 6 more weeks.. Just 6 more weeks!!

Watched '17 again' today.. Finally there's a movie i feel like watching.. there's like nothing interesting to watch these days! Anyway.. The movie is quite nice and humourous~ Although i still prefer Zac Efron singing and dancing in musicals.. I think he looks more charming when singing.. Heh..

The weather today is seriously intolerable.. Although it has been very hot the whole week.. But today is just so humid! The moment i step out of the shopping mall.. I just want to go back in.. Haha~ Ooh and tamp1 is quite good! Now there's thai express, kim gary and subway~ Plus the very cool stationary shop.. More choices liao! I just love it here~ I dun wan to move out of tampines! =)

Updates!

Quite a number of things happened this week..

Went down to the NUS new biz sch site for the 2nd time on thurs.. its already at the 2nd storey! It was still on the flat ground when i first went.. Haha..
After the conquas meeting, my sup decided to bring me walk walk around the site.. Finally! =x And he taught me alot of things~ So here's some photos to share..

This is the 2nd storey.. took the pic when i was still standing at the site office i think..

After that we walked and climbed up and down to get onto the site!

Scaffolds~ This is taken at the 1st storey.. Woah~ How often will u get to stand in a building with the scaffolds still there?? i thought this is cool.. Lol!

Actually there's no meaning to this pic.. But i decided to put this up bcos... The guy in the pic is my sup =x Haha! He has been really nice that day to bring me around to teach me everything at the site and answer all my queries for 1hour+..

Those groups of steel bars at the back are the columns for the 2nd floor..

And this is the haven-completed.. floor! Only the rebars bcos the floor is not casted yet..

Lastly, the staircase on the left of the pic.. and the wall on the right..

I dunno whether its only me.. But it was really quite exciting and interesting to get to see all these at the construction site.. Lol.. It's like all that i saw on my tender drawings coming to life.. Hahaa..

Aiya but its a pity that i forgot to take a picture of the staircase out-of-nowhere which we have to climb to get around the site.. With a few steel bars to hold on to only.. Shall take a picture of that if i have a chance next time.. Heh..

My IA tutor came on friday.. It went more smoothly than i've expected actually.. Maszenan did not bombard me with any question too.. Haha.. In conclusion, everything went quite well~

Today i went out for an outing with my colleagues after our halfday work.. The turnout wasn't as many as they expected, with some pple tied at the site with bosses.. Lol.. but it was actually quite fun spending time with them~

We went bowling after lunch.. Something which i haven done for years -.- During the 2nd game my right arm is aching already =x

Had dinner at popeye's near the sg flyer after that, then we went to find somewhere to sit down and chat.. Timbre is full as expected, so we ended up at 'the pump room' at clarke quay..

I'm glad to have met this bunch of colleagues at Guan Ho.. i've learned quite abit from them, in work as well as other aspects.. I guess it's the different stages of life that we're in.. Although our age is not that far apart.. Chatting with them proves to be something very interesting as i hear things that i normally don't.. Haha..

I think this is the first time i felt that i'm part of the Guan Ho family.. Haha.. Today also marks the end of my 11th week in my IA company.. Just nice halfway through already.. And i'm starting to think that just 11 weeks more with them is actually quite short..

I have been thinking about this.. I would have considered going back to Guan Ho to work.. If, and only if, i'm a structural engineer.

I just had to remind myself again.. I'm actually an environmental engineer.

We had a gathering again bcos its recess week.. All of them have their recess except me -.- Had long john and slacked at coffee bean this time round.. :)

Stole wanwei's collage again.. Haha! Cam-whoring while waiting for diana to arrive~

Also went school for the FYP talk.. Which is totally a waste of time.. I can't believe we travelled all the way back to boon lay for a 25 mins useless talk.. Zzz.. Luckily my company did not deduct my pay for that half day leave.. Haha! Well, so also counted as half a day earned.. Lol~

Caught 'Marley & Me' yesterday.. It was not too good and not too bad.. Lol! A heartwarming show which portrays what always happens in real life.. Not 夸张, does not have climax but makes me think.. Heh~ I prefer the younger version of Marley though.. The older one doesn't look cute enough! Haha.. Surprisingly i heard alot of pple sniffing in the cinema.. I think it isn't as sad as i expected it to be lehz.. =x But the front part also surprised me.. There's a scene which i laughed till i teared.. Lol! Overall, it was still quite an enjoyable show.. Watch it if u love animals~

Oh.. And we saw 王田裁 at suntec after the movie! 是 shuai 的咯! Heh~ He still looks very young.. But he looks very fierce and dao.. Lol..

End of week 8 of IA.. Almost halfway there! Work has become a routine and i don't dread it anymore actually.. Even so.. I wish IA will end asap =p
