Fq's Bday Celebration [161210]

Had ala carte buffet at Momoya Japanese Restaurant.. It was actually better than i expected~ The dishes come in small portions so can order more varieties.. And $30++ is considered quite reasonable for the buffet bah..

But the highlight of the day was the super nice Passion Fruit Meringue from The Patissier! The cake is like the BEST i've ever eaten so far!! Initially we were worried that no one would finish up the cake bcos it was 6" and there was only 5 of us and we were all full from the buffet.. But we were fighting for the last piece after we had our share.. Hahaha..

Wb's Bday Celebration [191210]

Tony Romas for lunch.. Then chilling at Coffee Club after.. (as usual.. lol) Tony Romas is not bad but too meaty for my liking..

Visited Mint Toy Museum after that.. The museum was quite a disappointment i feel. I expected the museum to be bigger and have more life-sized cartoon characters to be around.. But somehow it's mostly small toys inside and some of them are not the common ones we expect. No pics cos i haven gotten it haha

Dinner at Pornsak's Thai Restaurant, "Porn's" after that.. He's there too.. haha.. we were sitting near the door and everytime anyone walk past, they will stop for 5 secs to look at him den walk off.. Lol. Food's not bad but there's very little variety available..

Christmas Eve [241210]

Teo Heng till 10pm bcos it was fully booked after 10pm -.- And i booked 3-4 weeks in advance! Zzz.. now everyone knows where to get cheap ktv..

Cafe cartel to nua and countdown after ktv.. Haha.. There's hardly any soul in the restaurant except us.. What a quiet christmas.. Lol

Our yearly routine~ Had zhu chao for dinner.. German bridge was quite fun!

Happy 6 months to me and Senoko.. lol.. That's my confirmation letter!

Yes, i finally ended my very long probation today~ exactly 6 months from the day i started working!

Although I wouldn't say that time past with a blink of an eye, but somehow the 6 months still past considerably fast.

I'm thankful that i got myself this job at my 2nd interview, although i wouldn't say it's the most perfect job that i would like to do. Nonetheless, it is still an experience to be able to work at a power generation company, learning electrical stuff! There's still much to learn.. Lets see how long more i'll give myself at this place.. haha

I'm also thankful for the colleagues i met in the company.. Most are nice people who offered me alot of help along the way.. (And did not scold me for doing the wrong things lol!) But I always hoped there are more fresh grads here to pull down the amazingly high average age of employees.. Lol~

Oh.. Did i mention the monday blues went away for some time already? Haha.. I guess this is called getting used to the mundane working life.. Sigh.. On a more optimistic note, this also means that my job isn't dreadful.. Haha~

Yup it has been great and i hope it will continue to be good :)

Just felt like blabbering something here before i go to bed.. Don't know why but just feel like blogging tonight.

Been listening to old songs recently, or rather just got the chance to hear some of them.. Not really THAT old.. But from the 1990s.. Somehow, i feel that songs written during that period have really meaningful lyrics which touches me..

Some other random stuff..

My company has this make-up workshop for ladies yesterday and it was fun! But i was damn sad bcos i had to leave halfway as it was time for inspection :( Did not get to apply the eye liner and mascara and lip gloss and have to remove my make-up before going for inspection bcos the weather was damn hot! :( Nonetheless, it was great~ Hope there are more interesting workshops in future other than boring talks!

Last sat..

Went JB with colleagues.. 2 hours of ktv with lunch, shopping, 2.5hours of harry potter + nice dinner.. Was a cheap and enjoyable trip~


Last sun..

Ten dollar club KTV at Chinatown with 7Cs~ my first time there.. but i think teo heng is still better! Lol
