School has started for 3 weeks.

It's only week 3.. *sigh*

I don't like school this sem.. Modules aside, there are soooooo many projects to do.. I'm not a project person.. I rather spend time doing tutorials and studying for quizzes but i just don't like projects! *Sigh again* This is another reason why i'm not doing a business course..

I have 3 mods with projects, excluding FYP. Each mod has a few submissions and a few presentations in between.. Doing the calculation for 13 weeks of the sch term.. I have at least 1 submission or presentation every week.. Grrrrr..

And now, i just know that FYP labs will fill up my last dec holidays.. Thanks ah :(

Definitely not in the best of moods these days.. I think i need something to cheer me up.

Back in sg~

Nothing changed i supposed.. Just that I turned alot darker.. Zzzz.. and I get this comment from alot of pple! OMG..

Kept myself busy for the remaining 5 days of my holidays before sch officially started..

Went back to have my fav vietnam food with ex-colleagues! I ate chilli almost everyday ever since I came back! Haha! I’ll definitely bring some bottles of chilli over to hk if I’m going back there for more than a few days in future! Really cannot take it sia.. Lol.. If there's one thing i missed most in hk.. It's chilli =p

Also went back to school for FYP stuff.. The FYP topic doesn’t seem that bad afterall.. Let’s hope it’s interesting!

Watched UP~ It’s quite nice.. Abit different from other animations.. It’s a rather touching story :)

Went Topone KTV with pri sch frens on Monday :)) Happy belated bday to wanling! Sorry that it has to be belated this year cos we weren’t around! And we’re really paiseh for the wrong brand of cake.. Lol.. Shall not reveal the stupid thing we did here =x

We had Astons for dinner at Suntec.. It was really quite cheap and good.. Had the steak for $11.50! Met Junnan for desserts after that.. That girl is finally back from China after 1 whole year.. But it didn’t really felt like a year though! We had an interesting chat that night.. Topic is confidential =D

School has started for a week already.. And I think I don’t like my modules this sem.. Especially the history and regulations one -.- Haiz.. Why do I have such core mods?! And there are amazingly alot of projects this sem.. I can foresee that it will be the busiest sem ever..

HK Day 36 – 38

Had exam #2.. it was okay I guess.. that marks the end of the HRM module.. yay~ =)

Had lunch at 翠华.. The curry chicken and prawn noodles and zhu pa baos are quite yummy! And their chilli is spicy de lo! =p

Our last 3 days were spent walking around aimlessly.. like some 流浪汉 like that.. Haha! Cos we kind of finish visiting all the places that we wanted to visit already.. So we just flipped all the tourist guide books and try to find places which we haven gone to yet..

Decided to visit Avenue of Stars at night cos we haven seen the lighting show yet.. Sat at the ‘1st class seats’ (according to denny) but sometimes it’s not vv first class got got ships will suddenly dock there de.. Lol! Well.. But at 8pm we did have a very good view of the whole lighting performance.. Just sitting there and enjoying the sea breeze and good view is a very relaxing thing to do~ Despite the not very up-to-standard lighting performance, I did enjoy that night alot just relaxing there =)

Day 37.. Typhoon signals seem to show that signal 8 will come that night! We were all praying for it to come.. Bcos if it doesn’t come.. we’ll be at risk of not being able to go home on wed!

Dunno why we ended up in Langham Place again.. Lol.. But we saw some TVB filming going on that day! Aiya but there wasn’t any of my shuai ges around.. sadded.. Haha.. saw these few actors (whom I dunno the names!).. The one at the bottom left is some guy who always act as the head in police shows de.. The guy at bottom right is one of the lead actors I think.. but I dunno him at all! Let me knows if anyone of u knows who he is.. Haha.. And I din managed to capture the lead actress face.. u can see her back view in the same pic.. Lol! But I also dunno who she is leh..

The bottom left pic auntie looks familiar?? HAHA! I recognized her at first sight lo.. So did all my frens when I showed them the pics.. I think she is quite famous unknowingly liao.. Lol~

After nua-ing, we proceeded to buy our 老婆饼! Went to both the Mongkok and Sha Tin branches cos we finish buying all their big boxes and its not enough for us! LOL.. In the end we bought more small boxes one.. Heh~

Dinner at the Mian Cafe again.. This was the cafe we went to for our first dinner in hk.. now we’re back to have our last dinner in hk! (Ok actually not the last but last day we will be eating at airport..) Yup and we realised their 下午茶 price is much cheaper also! *faints* we realised on our last 2nd day that we should eat all our dinners at下午茶 hours laaaaa! Place the orders before 6pm den can enjoy the cheaper rates! Alamak.. I think really alot of places have下午茶 rates.. Must rem this when I return to hk in future! Lol..

Me and Teresa were packing our luggage that night.. And we decided to take some photos in our room for 纪念.. including some stupid shots.. Haha! And oh.. Typhoon signal 8 came at around 10pm that night.. Thank goodness! We were soooo glad man! This means that it will most prob be over by the next morning and we can successfully get onto the flight home!

Day 38.. Last day in hk.. Denny came over to help us with our luggages that morning.. The guys are staying in a different hall as us (it’s a long story why…..) and we’re really glad that we had their help! It’s torturous carrying luggage up the slope/stairs.. Grrrrr..

Had lunch at Mac in Sha Tin.. The ‘Big & Tasty’ burger is really vv tasty! Omg I’m missing it already.. Haha..

Took a bus to airport after lunch.. Reached airport quite early and shopped there.. There are quite alot of shops there though.. got arcade somemore.. Haha.. Yeap and at night it was home sweet home =D

I’m really grateful for my wonderful travel mates Teresa, Denny and Zhi Hao! THANKS GUYS! We had fun times together and I hope they enjoyed the trip as much as I did.. it was an unforgettable experience for me =))

HK Day 29 - 35

After lessons, we went to this place which sells burgers in the neighbourhood in Hung Hom.. It’s quite cheap compared to the food we normally eat.. But the guys can eat 2 burgers at one go.. Making it not as cheap as it should be -.- Lol.. The double cheese burger looks heavenly huh.. But somehow I don’t feel that it tastes as good as it looks.. Haha.. But nonetheless it was quite tasty~


After that we walked around aimlessly and waited for dinner time to come.. Haha! Sounds really bad =x Had xu liu shan again in between.. I lost count of the number of times we ate that.. Lol~ We brought Calvin to 糖朝 for dinner cos he hasn’t been there before.. Managed to reach there at around 5.30pm and we made an amazing discovery.. The 下午茶 price of the dim sums are much cheaper laaa! Nearly 50% off liao.. Then we ordered quite abit.. Hahaa.. Now I know.. 下午茶 is the best time to visit most eateries.. get to the places and place orders before 6pm!


Day 31.. Met up with Jiawei in HK! We had lunch at Pizza Hut~ Stuffed crust pizza again =p But the other sesame one doesn’t taste as nice.. Went Snoopy’s World again after that.. Took more pics with those stuff that I missed out on my first visit.. Don’t ask me why we missed those out.. Lol! After the very filling lunch, we combed the whole of Mong Kok starting from Mong Kok East Mtr! Combed 花园街, 女人街, the sports street, etc. I can’t rem what other streets we went to..! The last pic showed what we had for dinner.. The two of us are so full from the pizza hut meal that we couldn’t take a proper dinner that night.. Lol~ But those siew mais and stuff from the street stalls were quite good too!


Day 32.. My last day of HRM lesson! Top left pic are my fellow group members =) In case u are wondering why my grp members are all guys.. During the first lesson the prof decided to split everyone in the class up into grps and she made sure that we dunno each other before class! And since 3/4 of my class are triple e guys.. girls are scarce.. Lol~ Yup.. Anyway.. that’s Alex from U.S beside me.. the front row consist of 2 triple e guys (Chee Wee and William) and a local hk guy (Ivan).. U can make a guess who’s which.. Haha! But overall I’m quite satisfied with my group.. we did many group assignments together~ Cheers to group 1 =p

After lessons we went Mong Kok for this famous dim sum shop.. We knew it was famous but.. we queued for like 1 hour to get in?!? Zzzzz.. All of us almost died of hunger.. And after trying the food I don’t think its worth to queue 1 hour leh.. It’s not bad of cos.. But I dun think it’s THAT nice.. But I think my frens beg to differ.. They fell in love with those fried char siew baos and ordered alot alot! -.- U all can see that in the pics.. I’m not a fan of char siew baos.. I agree that they are nice la.. But the maximum I can take is 2.. After that I experience diminishing returns.. Hahaha..

Honeymoon Desserts after a few hours.. LOL.. I don’t think it’s that nice eh? Just normal.. Match-too for dinner again bcos I missed the beef I ate that time sooooo much =D (if u realise.. we are starting to eat all the food that we’ll miss when we go home..) But we realised that the 2 cuts of beef on the Italian rice.. will have 1 which is nicer than the other! LOL.. I rem the taste of the juicy beef on my tongue already =x

Day 33.. Farewell dinner at The Mira in Tsim Sha Tsui..

It was buffet that night~ Somehow, I preferred that to the 11-course welcome dinner we had.. At least we get to choose what we like to eat? Haha..

The feeling that summer studies is really coming to an end came during the slide show.. Yeah.. I’ll definitely miss the carefree life I had in hk.. no matter whether I feel like going home anot..

HK Day 23 - 27

Can't rem when we had that pizza from Shakey's pizza again.. haha.. but that pizza has nothing except all kinds of cheese on it.. blue cheese and other cheese.. but we don't think that it's cheesy enough.. lol..

Had this freshly baked egg tarts in Causeway Bay.. It just came out of the oven and were still hot! Denny thinks that it's the best egg tarts he ever ate.. lol.. Took quite a few pics with the box.. for ade.. haha! cos she's craving for egg tarts when she was here =p

After that we went to have our steamboat..

The fish skin in the top right pic is really nice! Always saw it along the streets and thought it was gross.. din think that it will actually taste that nice.. Heh.. Bottom right is the chicken blood.. My first time eating it but i dun have a good impression of it.. Lol.. Bottom left is the shui jing char siew bao.. Something special.. and u can see what's inside in the next pic..

The soup base was fan qie yu tou tang~ Tomato-fish head.. It was quite special and sweet! The sotong and prawn balls we had were made out of the real ingredients (i.e we can see the prawn curled up in the shape of the ball!).. Yeap it was a delicious meal! Though it was damn expensive too.. The most ex meal we had in hk.. Hahaa.. Lokching left for sg the next day after having this meal with us.. Special thanks to her for bringing us around for all the good food! Her recommendations were all very good :)

Day 24.. We had 糖朝 again! This time i remembered to take photos instead of gobbling down the food right away =p

These are our fav! Always order them when we are having dim sum.. Our conclusion: The turnip cake is the BEST! We've never eaten anywhere better than this ;p

Day 25.. Oops.. we had dim sum for lunch again.. Haha! But this is at some chinese restaurant in CUHK.. it was cheaper but of cos, 糖朝 tastes better.. Lol..

See that big pot of porridge.. We regretted after ordering it.. But the guys are pro! We managed to finish almost everything.. I think they had 6 bowls each or something.. Haha!

Day 26.. We went to Big Buddha at Lantau Island! Decided not to follow the sch tour and went to take the cable car up ourselves.. There's this crystal cabin cable car which has transparent base! Cool~ But of cos it costs more.. We took it on our way there~

The weather was fine initially.. But as we got higher and higher.. It become real foggy.. Look at the pictures below to see wad i mean..

I was almost hidden by the mist liao.. Haha! But it's quite cool to take photos in such weather too.. 有仙境的感觉! =p

Things we saw along the way.. The wishing shrine, the buddha tree and erh.. some random pics.. Haha! The last pic was what we saw when we were nearing the big buddha.. omg all mist and cannot see anything! So we decided to visit the wisdom path first.. before climbing the long flight of stairs up..

It was very misty when we first reached.. But after a while.. Suddenly the fog starts to clear! So we quickly took pics..

After that, we walk very fast back to the buddha there.. Was scared that the mist will be back and we cannot see the big buddha.. Haha..

See the long flight of stairs? I was already very tired before climbing up.. And was really panting when i reached the top! 是累的咯! After we took pics with the buddha.. the mist came back.. so we decided that it was a good time to do some jumping shots! I love that photo we took =p although my long hands covered ter's mouth.. Hahaha!

This is the vegetarian lunch we had.. Only went for the cheap one and not the deluxe meal.. But it was already filling enough~ i like the beehoon most.. it's nice~

We had 王家沙 for the 3rd and last time that night.. Lol!

Day 27.. We went for the cultural tour to Yuen Lang with the school.. this tour was such a disappointment.. they brought us to some lok cok villages which has nothing to see? And the tour guides were like mumbling to themselves -.- It was such a hot day and i got sunburnt for nothing.. Grrrrrrrr...

See that bottom left pic? There's this stall which sells pork in the village like that.. oh man.. i din know there are still such places in hk..

We were looking forward to lunch cos of the lousy tour.. Look what happened to lunch..

This is called the 盆菜.. And according to the tour guide.. this is wad the emperor eats in the past.. Basically it's just one big pot with all the ingredients thrown inside.. it was a REALLY big pot.. and was supposedly for 8 pple?! We had 9 pple at our table.. And eat until we wanna puke liao.. The last picture shows what's left after an hour.. Oh man.. It's seriously not a good idea to cook stuff like this.. everything tastes the same.. we were so grossed out after the meal.. Lol!

Next place we visited was hang heung factory! The only good thing about the trip that day i supposed..

Saw them making all the cookies and stuff.. then we have free mooncakes and lao po bing to test! Fresh and hot lao po bing~ Ter was addicted to it after that piece.. Hahaha~

3 more days before we return to sg.. part of me wants to go back but part of me wants to stay here.. How?! Hahaha.. Farewell dinner is already over.. and my final exam is tml.. i have to bid goodbye to my carefree life soon...............
